Providing a key, demo, pre-release build or press material does not guarantee coverage, publication or a positive review. All published opinions reflect the team’s actual experience with the game and are not dictated by developers, publishers or commercial relationships.
Noobsnoplay considers projects across different genres, sizes and stages of development. Coverage decisions take into account editorial interest, team availability, platform access, release timing and the time required to properly experience the game.
Content based on demos, playtests or unfinished builds is clearly presented as first impressions or preview coverage and is not treated as a definitive review of the final product. Reviews are based on the version available and the experience actually played.
Keys supplied for evaluation are used exclusively for editorial purposes and by the team involved in the coverage. Providing early access does not give the sender control over the content, score, conclusion, format or publication timing.
Publication embargoes communicated and agreed upon in advance are respected. Reasonable restrictions involving confidential or unannounced information may also be observed, provided they do not interfere with editorial independence.
When relevant, we disclose when a game key or access was provided by a developer or publisher. This does not affect our evaluation criteria or published opinion.
Advertising, sponsorships or other commercial partnerships, if applicable, are clearly disclosed and kept separate from the editorial process. Noobsnoplay does not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage or a predetermined editorial conclusion.
Factual corrections are welcome and may be updated when appropriate. Disagreement with an opinion, review or editorial conclusion does not by itself result in changes to published content.
